V2X Fusion Electronic Control Unit, ETSI TC-ITS protocol stack

An extended temperature DSRC V2X-enabled Electronic Control Unit with cellular capability, HRU-201E provides preloaded ETSI TC-ITS stack running on Linux OS. The SDK enables direct Linux V2X and sensor fusion application porting on C/C++ user space code to explore “Beyond V2X Applications, Today.”

A. V2X Fusion
- Enables V2X on DSRC sub-system to offload the processing power demand of the main system through RMII connection.
- Enables V2X Fusion application on Linux with truly scalable Freescale® i.MX 6 CPU and u-blox® GNSS module with feature rich I/O ports.
- Client-server system architecture provides a smooth software migration path to enable V2X on variable Linux main system, no impact on existing Linux software.
- Enables V2X RF or wireless communication solution through on-board PCIe or I/O connectivity.
B. Software Architecture and Migration Path
Client-server dual- processor/system architecture enables flexible V2X system selection on Linux OS or ThreadX RTOS.It provides a smooth software migration path on existing software core competence.
